A year before the anime, I wasn't interested in the Attack on Titans manga. I mean, while the Titans and their hunger for human flesh chilled my bones, including their horrifying appearances, I thought the manga was getting ridiculous when one of the heroes just turned into a titan out of nowhere. It sort of ruin for me, because it's more suspenseful if it's just humans vs Titans only, not humans and Titans vs Titans.
It would have been just my crush Mikasa and some badass humans beating the crap out of these giant humanoids, since they use their wits and strength to even the odds.
But did I say Mikasa's my crush? Hell YEAH, I said it! She's one of the best heroines in the manga fiction! With her tragic back story, her silent nature, her friendship with Eren, and her wits and skills against the Titans... Mikasa's a beautiful unstoppable killing machine with some humanity inside her, which is why she became my #1 favorite character of Attack on Titans!!
Though, sadly, I am not really a fan of Attack on Titans, at least not yet. I haven't watched the anime yet, and I became discouraged reading the manga thanks to my Christian mom.
But aside from that, what's your feeling (or opinion) on Mikasa? I know that she got an amount of hatred from fans because they thought she's very "creepy" on Eren, or they think of her as "gross" because she has abs (or muscles on her stomach, I don't know).
